“The Lord made mountains to climb, not just to look at, and up there one understands why–seeing the vista that most folks never see, with the sense of farness that most never feel.” – Jim Elliot
We all climb “mountains” at one time or another. There is a specific need to recognize that mountains are meant to climb. They are to be endured. They are to be conquered.”Vista” is defined as: a pleasing view. When we conquer the mountain we not only see where we have just risen from but we also see the peaks of the other mountains he has been so faithful to help us climb. Some choose to sit and miss the opportunity to be strengthened by the journey. In turn, they miss the blessing of the view.
Don’t miss the view.
Don’t miss the blessing.
Choose to climb.
Here is to enduring the climb and basking in the beauty of the view.
Until Next Time,
